SF's Yo' Mama's So Literary

I won SF's Literary Death Match, Friday before last.  The competition was really stiff.  We were all champions!  The audience and the judges and the promoters were all fantastic.   It came down to a literary smack down.  I felt scared and excited at the same time.  Like a virgin.  Read all about it at www.literarydeathmatch.com

Single Woman of a Certain Age, an anthology edited by Jane Ganahl came out in paperback this month.  My essay, Straight Outta Marin is in great literary company.  I love the writers in this collection!   We will be reading around the Bay Area the next couple of months.  Google us.   And buy the book, please.  Great vacation read!

Life started looking up for me after a tough, po' ass  winter.  I had a birthday and got gift money from my family, a modest royalty check and tax refund.  I have also received more work in April and May.  I'm blessed to be able to make ends meet for now.   Much love.  Remember, we are not our circumstances.
