Kids...
The hardest job in all the world-
especially for Daddy's with lil' girls...
Moms have the same bond with their boys-
how do you think they got so attached to their toys?
But, it is plain to see
that no matter what you will always be
something so special words can't describe
how your parents love you - way down deep inside...
Sure we're strong & we'll fight to the end
but like the ol' oak tree, we sway & bend.
When storms arise, as they always will -
we move with the wind until it's once again still.
All relationships have bonds that must be strong
if not? - well...... they won't last long.
It's the ability to stay united while we ebb & flow-
our willingness to accept and just let go
that has sustained our love thru thick and thin
helped us grow closer, again & again.
See these traits carry over into parenthood -
whether they are bad or good
they will effect your kids in so many ways
it is absolutely impossible to say
just how deep the cuts really go
but there's one thing I am sure that I know
I would never do anything to hurt my girl
I would give up my life or give her the world
So here we are, bending, flexing & flowing along -
crazy as ever, silly as a ding dong -
living our life and enjoying each step
we have a few outside, that's where they're kept...
We don't have steps between you & me-
that's how it has been & how it will always be!

But it is a rewarding experience! When you see them grow up and they turn up so well. It means you have done your best as a parent. As mothers---we give birth to them but they have their own lives to live. We must let go...let them chart their destinies.
