Andrea Alban Gosline Poet, Children's Writer and Novelist

Andrea Alban Gosline

Biography Andrea Alban Gosline is the author of inspirational parenting books and children's picture books and novels. She is a native San Franciscan raised in a neighborhood teeming with big backyards and adventurous children. She cultivated her appreciation of nature during solo walks near the family summer home in the pine forests of Lake Tahoe. On her sixth birthday, she self-published her first poetry book—a handlettered scroll tied with red ribbon. At high school graduation, her creative writing teacher awarded her the Bank of America English Achievement Award. The framed certificate still hangs in her writing room as a beacon for her creative journey. Andrea has worn many entrepreneurial hats—from owning a natural food store to producing large scale events for the National Parks Association, the Salvation Army, and the American Heart Association. Now a full-time author, and Creative Director of Ambledance Pictures and Verse, Andrea lives in a Tudor cottage with her family and an Irish Setter named Dusty.
