Catherine Brady

Biography Catherine Brady is the author of two short story collections, Curled in the Bed of Love, winner of the 2002 Flannery O'Connor Award for Short Fiction, and The End of the Class War, a finalist for the Western States Book Award. her stories have appeared in Best American Short Stories 2004 as well as literary magazines including Missouri Review, Zyzzyva, Ontario Review, Cimarron Review, and Other Voices. She is the author of the biography Elizabeth Blackburn and the Story of Telomeres: Deciphering the Ends of DNA (MIT Press, 2007). A third collection of stories is forthcoming from University of Nevada Press. She teaches in the MFA in Writing Program at the University of San Francisco.
