Charles Skaggs Writer of Everything You Haven't Thought of Yet

Charles Skaggs

Biography

Despite not being rocketed to Earth from the distant planet Krypton (as far as he knows, anyway), Charles Skaggs was adopted and raised by a kind and loving couple in the small town of Medina, Ohio. There, he developed his unhealthy obsessions for comic books, the British science-fiction series Doctor Who and Cleveland Indians baseball...on top of the 50,000 other interests relating to literature, film, television, music, philosophy, history and sports that happen to grab his attention at any particular moment in time.

One of those other interests resulted in the publication of "Doctors Three," a short story for the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds II anthology from Pocket Books. The thoroughly entertaining tale was listed as one of "The Top 10 Dr. McCoy Stories You May Have Missed" by Star Trek Communicator magazine and was recently featured in Voyages of Imagination: The Star Trek Fiction Companion by Jeff Ayers.

When not occupied with one for the aforementioned obsessions, Charles can be found trying to flirt with his beautiful wife Lori and working on various projects. Currently, he is working on Kill or be Killed, a science-fiction/espionage novel best described in high concept as "James Bond in the 22nd century." And yes, he's open to film options.
