I grew up in San Francisco left at 17 and returned 45 years later having independently become a writer and scholar of Jewish studies. I lived in Israel for ten years where I studied Cabala. Returning to America in 1990 took on reading Tarot cards; won a First Amendment federal case against the town of Woodstock NY for freedom of speech, but was forced to leave in disgrace having lost my sense of balance. The disollution of my family and the many years living on the road forced me to the precipice from where I receive my greatest inspiration. I live on the edge; I have always lived on the edge. Now I have returned home.
