Dusty Rhoades

Biography

I've been a radio news reporter, club DJ, TV cameraman, ad salesman, waiter, and since 1989, a simple country lawyer in small town North Carolina. I write an award winning humor column for the Southern Pines, North Carolina, Pilot. Current books in print are the Jack Keller series of mystery/thriller novels: The Devil's Right Hand, Good Day in Hell, and Safe and Sound. My fourth novel, Breaking Cover,  is a stand-alone built around the premise that "just becuase you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not all really out to get you."

The Devil's Right Hand was nominited for the Shamus Award for Best First Novel; Safe and Sound was  named one of the best mystery novels of 2007 by January Magazine.
