Biography Ellie Slott Fisher is the author of the critically acclaimed Mom, There's a Man in the Kitchen and He's Wearing Your Robe. The Single Mother's Guide to Dating Well without Parenting Poorly (Da Capo Press 2005) and Dating for Dads.The Single Father's Guide to Dating Well without Parenting Poorly (Bantam Dell 2008). She is currently working on a book that explores the dynamic between the women in a guy's life; i.e the mother and her son's girlfriend, the sister and her brother's wife. A veteran journalist, Fisher has written for numerous magazines as well as the anthology Single Women of a Certain Age.
