Jasmin Darznik

Biography Jasmin Darznik was born in Tehran, Iran and received her doctorate in English from Princeton University. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle. A 2008-2009 Steinbeck Fellow, she has won honors and distinctions from Zoetrope: All-Story, The Iowa Review, and The San Francisco Foundation. Her book THE GOOD DAUGHTER: A MEMOIR OF MY MOTHER'S HIDDEN LIFE is forthcoming in January 2011 from Grand Central.
