Jason Erik Lundberg's Biography

Jason Erik Lundberg is an American expatriate living in Singapore, and the author of The Time Traveler’s Son (Papaveria Press), Four Seasons in One Day (Two Cranes Press, with Janet Chui), and over three dozen articles and short stories; he is also the co-editor of Scattered, Covered, Smothered and the forthcoming Field Guide to Surreal Botany. His solo work has most recently appeared in Hot Metal Bridge, the Raleigh News & Observer, Text:UR – The New Book of Masks, The Third Alternative and Electric Velocipede; in 2008, his writing will see publication in Subterranean Magazine, Sybil's Garage, Farrago's Wainscot, Tiny Stories, Strange Horizons, and other cool venues. His short fiction has been nominated for the Fountain Award and honorably mentioned in The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror.

Lundberg is a graduate of the Clarion Writers’ Workshop and the Creative Writing program at North Carolina State University, and currently teaches English at Hwa Chong Institution. He can’t get enough of teh tarik, a frothy Malaysian “pulled tea” served at volcanic temperatures and sweetened with condensed milk. His website can be found at jasonlundberg.net.
