Savannah Schroll Guz holds a Master's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1997-1998, she was a Fulbright Scholar and worked as a correspondence translator for Bavaria's Prince von Hohenzollern.
Stylistically, my work has been influenced by Joyce Carol Oates, Gunter Grass, and E.L. Doctorow. Conceptually, I continue to be interested in and influenced by the work of Aldous Huxley and George Orwell. It is to these two authors that my newest collection of short fiction, American Soma, pays homage.
