For Immediate Release:

Accidental Cowgirl Meets Singing Cowboy!

Healdsburg, CA June 8th, 2008 Mary Lynn Archibald, author of Accidental Cowgirl: Six Cows, No Horse and No Clue, and Scott Gerber, the Singing Cowboy, will be featured at the downtown Santa Rosa Barnes and Noble Bookstore, 700 4th Street, at 2 P.M. on Saturday, June 14th.

Mary Lynn will be discussing how she managed to "pass" as a cowgirl for 12 years on a cattle ranch in a remote part of Trinity County. “As soon as the papers were signed on our rural ‘retreat,’ we were in for a rude shock. We had no idea we were inheriting six cows, two cats, a flock of wild turkeys and a working cattle ranch,” she says, “but it didn’t take long to figure it out.”

Scott will be singing and speaking about the life of a REAL cowboy.
His songs, some traditional, and some he composed, will be available on his CD, Cowboy Songs.

Copies of Mary Lynn's book, Accidental Cowgirl will also be available.

So put on your cowboy boots (but leave the six-guns and spurs behind), please deposit your chewing tobacco in the receptacles provided (there will be no chewing allowed during the performance), and join us for a unique and enjoyable experience. Yeehaw!
