Red Room Where the Writers Are

My day began fairly harmlessly. The kids weren't too awful and they made it to school on time. I was even on time for work. My job is that of a helper.

My wife, who has worn corrective lenses since childhood, begins her day by reaching for her glasses before getting out of bed.

For years I was a coffee virgin. Unlike those Gilmore girls and their fashionably profuse coffee intake, I'd not so much as enjoyed mocha ice cream I was so java-free.

I’m one of those sober people.

This is a really cool piece I did in college--it's a "third party" experiment.
