Red Room Where the Writers Are

Just heard from my agent: a publisher she recently sent my latest children's picture book to, has just turned it down. Crap!

When I used to study ballet -- as an adult in my thirties -- I wasn't bad -- for an adult in my thirties -- except for the turns. Mechanically, I could do them fine.

How do you balance your family and your writing?
