Red Room Where the Writers Are

Sometimes, I forget that the cars that pass by mine are not simply machines.

10:08pm... and long overdue at that.

About one month ago, I drove out of the dealership lot in my new MINI Cooper S, pepper white, black top, black interior.  I was lurching a little, still unused to my manual transmission.  I think

9:20am... I'm trading in my car ahead of schedule because it is...an absolute disaster.

(Yet another entry that was started yesterday and I was busy and then passed out before I could post it. Gah!) 

The first rains of winter have arrived to the Los Angeles area.
