- Today was my birthday. Although I am miserably sick with a headcold, it was a lovely day.Still this congested head of mind is making it much too hard to concentrate on writing, and I miss my older son, who is away and seemed rather sad when he called. Other than that, a rather nice day altogether.

- As I've mentioned before, I'm no good at having a cold. The first few days are fine, I pull the virus over my head like a big blanket and snuggle.
