Red Room Where the Writers Are

I have...had four days off from work. Sounds like I should get a lot done, right? But the days are filled up as soon as I'm up and about.

First, let me admit that I have blithely typed that title in, as if I had advice to dispense, but in fact, I have questions. Slightly desperate questions. But let me start somewhere else.

This week, I arrived home from Mexico to cancellations. My "Developing the Novel" class is cancelled due to low enrollment.

I'm going to harp on about it, the whole getting up in the morning thing.

I'm sitting on the couch right now listening to my toddler scream. I'm trying to get her to take a nap. She has only napped for about 30 minutes all day.
