Chinese warned on 'eight don't asks' when dealing with foreigners (AP)--O.K. to ask:

1) “Is your mother Tibetan?”
2) “Is your mother the Dalai Lama?”
3) “Have you ever sent your clothes to be cleaned at a Tibetan laundry?”
4) “Do you think that Richard Gere is more handsome than the Dalai Lama?”
5) “Were you a Tibetan in a past life? No? Welcome to the Olympics!”
6) “Don’t you think the air in the Himalayas is more polluted than the air in Beijing? Good answer.”
7) “We Chinese love Tibetans. Don’t you?”
8) “How many Tibetan monks does it take to screw in a light-bulb? Ten. Nine to meditate. One to ask a Chinese.”
