Red Room Where the Writers Are

I reached 30, 982 words today and I went completely off of the outline.  I'm going to have to backtrack tomorrow to pick up some of the more salient plot points that I had wanted to cover.  But, the action was good and I learned a lot more about my characters today.  Some of the minor characters are becoming more prominent and vice versa.  This is hard work, and confusing.  I can't remember who did what to whom sometimes and it gets a bit frustrating.  I have to keep looking back in my manuscript.  Now there's a word I've never applied to any of my works before.  Will the fun never end?
