1.) On July 10, 6 -8 p.m., Electric Works gallery, 130 - 8th St., San Francisco, will be hosting an artists reception kicking off a six week display of original work by Bay Area cartoonists, including Mark and Vaughn Bode, Robert, Maxon and Ailine Kominsky-Crumb, Dan O'Neill, Red Room's own Trina Robbins, Spain Rodriguez, and S. Clay Wilson. The gallery will be offering for sale a print of a "Jam" poster by participating artists, which will benefit Wilson in his continuing recovery from his near fatal brain injury last November.
2.) Speaking of Trina, I didn't see her announce it here, but she gave a top notch interview to Tom Spurgeon, available at comicsreporter.com.Click down to June 28 to find it.
3.) Finally, outsider cartoonist B.N. Duncan, the Bard of Telegraph Avenue recently succumbed to lung cancer. (He is the subject of a tribute by Spurge at the Reporter today.) On Sunday, between 12 and 5 p.m., a memorial service will be held on the corner of Haste and Telegraph. In Duncan's honor, Old English malt will be drunk and Basic 100s smoked. (Probably not mandatory.)

Welcome back!
Hi Bob,
Glad to see you're firing on all cylinders. Sorry you were bedeviled by tech problems here at Redroom.
And thanks, as always, for checking out my stuff, for your flattering comments and for trying to help me find a bigger audience. I'll be touching base with the Broad Street boys today.
Best,
Chris
