Blogging from the Road: Book Tour Begins
I am southern Idaho where I will give the inaugural reading of my book tour for The Enders Hotel, my memoir. The reading is part of the Rocky Mountain Writers' Festival in Pocatello, Idaho--a festival that is in its 18th year of operation. In addition to the reading, I will teach a class at Idaho State University on literary nonfiction. I am very much looking forward to both events.
So far, the trip has been good, although I could do without the continual snow storms. It looks more like December than April, alas. The drive down, however, was beautiful; the highlight, I think, was spotting two Great Blue Herons in a wetland along the road.
Check back for another update AFTER the reading. Hopefully there will be something of a crowd...!

Brrrrrds!
Now you've got me worried about what happens to the herons during snowstorms.
Congratulations on the appearances and good luck!
