Carnival or Carneveal and it’s oh so Crazy.
Socialite Catwoman poses next to cat art while preparing to pounce on an unsuspecting man with a shiny watch. Barbara Gordon and Bat Girl both make appearances true to her character in their display of her two sided personality. Batman... wait, Bruce Wayne makes an appearance trying to get some dirt on those naughty mobsters, and Alfred is his catty yet classy self. I enjoyed this issue immensely. It had action (though I disapprove of hair-pulling), interesting locales (Venice, Gotham, and Sicily), suited-up super-heroines (sorry, Huntress; superheroes of the female variety), alter egos making their way in the world today (you go Selina, Helena, Babs, and Bruce), Great art (nicely done, Cliff), and a fun, fast-paced story (go Ivory). This issue gets three thumbs way up, which is more than this two-handed reviewer has, but I still make the attempt.
