Tango in Bohemia, San Francisco
I'm just back from Portland, Oregon, the tango festival. I'm still euphoric. The tango was sublime. My book reception was outstanding. More on it later. I'd like to offer a few of the venues where I'll be presenting my book, Tango, an Argentine Love Story. I'm hoping to receive the many people forced to turn back from the book launch at Fort Mason, Sunday, Oct 5, because of Hell's Angels (or the Blue Devils) traffic mess. And again, my gratitude to those who persisted. Here are upcoming events (also see my web site: www.camillecusumano.com):
Wed, October 22, 7 p.m. - Get Lost Travel bookstore - I'll be chatting, reading from TANGO, and giving a demo with the illustrious Jim Smith, one of my favorite tango partners from day one, when I was stepping on his feet. Come watch us at this great book store!
Sunday, October 26, 7 p.m., at Caffe Trieste on Market Street near Gough, I'll be presenting my book, at Sonja Riket's weekly milonga. If San Francisco is one big Bohemian Theme Park, Caffe Trieste is its go-to station. Come here and participate. We'll chat and "dialogue" just as in tango. Then, the dancing will go from 8 p.m. til ?
