She Looks Pretty Good for 99

June 13, 2008, 4:15 am

The Washington Post had a scary little article about those Facebook and Myspace applications yesterday: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp dyn/content/article/2008/06/11/AR2008061103759.html?nav=hcmodule "Developers can collect other data from members once they've download the applications," it said, so I took the hint--steamlined my homepage, removed my real date of birth, deleted some add-ons.

Later the same day, I went to get some eyeglasses and overheard a man ask the lady at the counter, "Why do you need my Social to make a pair of glasses?" What do you think, Red Roomers--in this context, is there such a thing as too much information?

Thank you, Cheryl

I just went to the article and will start removing the add-ons.
