Red Room Where the Writers Are

Here it is Friday and I obviously have decided (it being a full six days after the fact) that this is not the year to try to write a novel in a month. What a relief! There is so much I want to accomplish with my writing and I guess "novel" is pretty far down on the list.

Writing Goal #1: Write in my blog! Seriously. You wouldn't believe (well, maybe you would) how hard it is to post entries on a regular basis. 

Writing Goal #2: Write my website! I have a fairly active copywriting business--18 years now of self-employment. Do I have a website? Nope. To be truthful, it's not so much the writing as the display of same, but still...

Writing Goal #3: Nonfiction authorship. I add lots of fiction-type elements to my nonfiction, but I'm not so sure there's an entire novel in me. I do love and am pretty good at nonfiction content. So...where can I take that? I'm going to use this November to find out. 

In the meantime, I plan to learn the Tarot, practice yoga and meditation regularly and get really good at online Canasta. But that's a different story.
