Many, many downloads of my new novel: OF THE NIGHT
Thank you, thank you, thank you...
Since we posted Of the Nighton my site several weeks ago, many folks have taken the opportunity to read and/or download the novel. The number of hits the new book has received is truly gratifying.
This whole free ebook notion is still a new one for me: offering my writing, often the product of years of labour, for nothing (or, if readers choose, a voluntary donation). But, I'll tell you, I'm swiftly becoming a convert to the cause. Getting e-mails and critiques from folks far and wide is a thrill--knowing that wherever people live, something about my work appeals to them.
Some of these new fans are getting to know my work very well; many have read So Dark the Night and so were pleased to see me return to the familiar environs of Ilium (albeit with a new cast of characters).
Combining noir fiction with the supernatural seems to resonate with a lot of people.
Some are even clamoring for more...
