For must of us, personal growth is a natural part of life.  We try out many ways of coming into a better understanding of ourselves and those around us.  But what drives us to do good deeds on behalf and in support of others?  In the book Soul Progression by author Ron Pieris, we find a clear understanding of what it takes to grow internally and let it show externally.

According to Pieris, faith is less of an idea and more of an activity.  That seems more in keeping with earlier, more traditional spiritual doctrines.  We find evidence of the power of charity and what Pieris calls “works of faith” throughout the world's major religious texts, so there is obviously a great deal of validity to this idea.

If you want to recognize the importance of actively pursuing a truer faith, I wager that Pieris has something to offer you in this book.  Soul Progression seems a great reading for the person who wishes to alter his or her perspective upon the matter of personal growth through coming into a more complete awareness of the true substance of faith.
