Heroes - overly used
It seems like the media over the past year or more has been looking for Heroes. They are looking for inspiration in the extraordinary. What they have done is take ordinary and call it better than that. Perhaps they do so to show that ordinary is extraordinary. Perhaps they do it boost moral. Perhaps they do it because they do it - in ohter words they follow the trend that someone told them to follow. Find heroes. What will it be next? What if a real hero does show up? Would we know what it even looks like?
