Some Pictures from the Beach
I returned from a wild week of writing and plotting last night and thought I'd share a few pictures. Bren took all of these (except the one of her, of course). These were taken from our back deck (we had a great view of the snowy egrets!) and Bren captured the storm fence on one of her beach strolls. 
We had a wild and windy time Wednesday night as a storm blew through. I don't think I'd want to be in a house on stilts in a bigger wind than the one we experienced, but it was kind of fun to hear it whistling around us as it rattled the windows and shook the house itself.
I can't believe all we accomplished! There's nothing like getting away for a few days with nothing to do but write. However, I am glad to be home with John and the pups. Have a great weekend, everyone!
