The Voices of Our Nations Arts Foundation (VONA) www.voicesatvona.org is wrapping up the application process for 08. Record number of applicants this year, again, and unmatchable faculty for this summer. Our first year without Junot Diaz, a co-founder, will be different because Junot is rich with VONA dedication and fire, but the rest of us will carry on as he takes Oscar Wao around the world.

Applicants this year come from all over the US as well as nations in Africa, South America and Europe. We are happy to provide this home for writers of color--a safe space, an understanding context and a serious place for writing development.
