New York - The 6 Best Things Anybody Ever Said about New York

I just returned from my first trip to New York where I attended both Rich Frishman's Author 101 University and Book Expo.
One of the reasons for my attending Book Expo was to find a new distributor for my self-published books How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free, Career Success Without a Real Job, and 101 Really Important Things You Already, Know But Keep Forgetting.
For the record, I will not have a hard time getting a new distributor, given that I sent the books out to 7 distributors and 5 are actively pursuing me. The ones that are pursuing me all said that they were impressed with my success in generating sales for my self-published books.
All the distributors have been particulary impressed with the sales of How to Retire Happy, Wild, and Free, (over 100,000 copies sold and published in 7 foreign languages).
I met with 3 distributors at Book Expo and I am slanted toward the National Book Network (NBN).
Anyway, although I did not fall in love with New York as some people do, I had a great time.
I will certainly visit again if I have the chance to hook up with friends or if I have a reason to go for business purposes.
Perhaps I will go to Book Expo again next year since it was very profitable for me.
