My facebook account was hacked
No sooner had I arrived home from Santa Fe than I learned my Facebook account had been hacked, hijacked, rudely taken over by some creepy alien mind. Hackers need to get a life - wait, I forgot, this is their life.
But what was far worse was trying to close my Facebook account. I tried to deactivate my account, I tried to delete my account - nothing seemed to work. Those creepy alien minds are techno-savvy.
I've wanted out of Facebook for a while - but not this way. I barely have time for Redroom and for my blog at the excellent online magazine www.inthefray.org. Facebook was a time suck.
My last email to Facebook was less-than-polite. Finally they capitulated and let me go.

but what was the hacker using your facebook account to...do?? just put up strange status updates? tsk tsk. must admit i'm a facebook junkie but if that had happened to me i would have been just as keen to get out.
