100 out of 100 Things

Very clever! Now it seems
Very clever! Now it seems possible to do everything on the list. I still need to do some European travel, though! And other continents as well.

travel
I remember thinking, as a kid, that I had traveled a lot simply because I'd been to 20 or 30 of the States and to Canada! It was true, but only in comparison to most of the folks around me. Now, the fact that I've been to 2 other continents, plus various places in the West Indies, leaves me completely in the dust compared to so many of the people around me! I don't have a ton of money for travel these days, but being an academic helps (the occasional research or conference trip).

That's terrific, Evie! Makes the meme game much more interesting and resourceful.

Seemed like fun
I did the test and scored 67...which really isn't bad, but I am not sure that under 'saved soemone's life' a mention of divorcing husband would qualify :) Or 'Went skinny dipping'...hmmm...not really, but whatever was on slipped...
Thanks for making me feel like an achiever.
But I really, really did see David, Mona Lisa, Sistine Chapel, Leanign Power of Pisa, Eiffel Tower, Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, a concentration camp in Dachau...
And I held a falcon.

And I Held A Hummingbird
OK.
So - now - using your criterion I have done everything in the list plus done everything on the list.
Time for a nap.
Evie Shockley says:
thanks!
Thanks, everyone, for not calling me a big ol' cheater! : )
I have to say, holding either a falcon or a hummingbird would be among the coolest possible things to do. I held a butterfly, too, once, but I don't even think that compares.
Happy thanksgiving, folks!

see you in the ville
I was putting together the schedule for the Louisville Conf and I saw that you will presenting. How nice! I will make an effort to attend.
Evie Shockley says:
oh, yay!
I'd not made the connection, but I should have remembered that you are at Louisville! I hope I see you while I'm there, even if you don't find it possible to sit through a panel on a poet you probably haven't (yet) read. : )
