the good news:  i've got some thing back up on my homepage, after it had vanished [server fizzled] and was null for a couple weeks

i now can access the site again

i can't reconstruct 10-15 years but could repost some blocks and chunks

before i begin trying to remember etc, i'm writing an introduction to a book of translations of chinese poetry and song before sending it out to a couple publishers
