Pale Sun

In 1994, the author's short story "Nothing More than Male and Female" 無非男女 (translated in the White Snake collection) was made into a movie in Taiwan by film director Zhu Yanping (朱延平aka Chu Yen-ping). Zhu retitled the story 情色 (Engish title Pale Sun) expanded the story and re-set it in Taiwan. It is hard to obtain but can occasionally be found on YesAsia.com:
