Belle Yang says:

The Banquet Bug

I heard "The Banquet Bug" read on BBC Radio 4 not very long along.  It was produced for "Book for Bedtime," I believe, or was it "Book of the Week"?  It was funny, ironic, humane and a pitch-perfect portrayal of the China I saw in the late 80's.

For those who don't know about BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4, it's an excellent source for literature.  (Available online and free!)

Congratulations, Geling.  I think it's brave and marvelous that you are writing successfully in a second language.
