What's My Favorite Bookstore?
Hi everybody, this is my first blog entry. I just have a few things to say: First I want to pose a question: Do you have a favorite bookstore? I would say I don't. I buy books in English at Books and Books, Authors or Lerner, if they are in Spanish, but the most important thing, even more than buying them is READING them. I'm really concerned about the steady decrease of readers in my country, and especially in the city I live in, Bogota. You hardly ever find someone to talk about any given author or book. I wonder why. Reading is just like going to the movies, only it takes a bit longer, but it's really worth it. Even if the book is bad, it doesn't matter, it helps you build a taste, and, if you are a writer, a style. Well, that's basically what I wanted to share with you, thanks, and read you later!
