Experimenting with Red Room

Well, this is a new site for me, recommended by friends.

So far, I've found it a bit confusing to use. Filling out the author information was somewhat cumbersome with far too many questions for a new relationship between a person and an unknown company. There seems to be a lot of information on the site, but when I filled out my author page, there wasn't a whole lot there. It looked a little naked. So I figured I would blog just to fill the space.

I have no idea why the date on my screen is December 31, 1969. It's kind of fun to think about writing a blog in 1969. What would I have written about at that time? Pretty sure it was my first New Year's Eve with a real girlfriend. No idea where we went that night, no idea at all. Probably, the next morning, my parents' very noisy friends brought their friends over to wake the late sleepers-- hung-over late sleepers, probably-- as I recall, the friends brought their kids along in order to make as noise as possible. And I probably hunted around for the bridge mix that the adults always left behind. Sorry, but that's all I can piece together.
