A comic on the creative process
I've just posted a comic I made about how I made an animated cartoon. I'd had no experience making animation ever before, so it was a learning experience, and a very satisfying one at that. I think it also sheds a little light on the creative process, how one goes about turning a vague idea floating around in your head into something concrete, something that all artists and writers have to do. The Naked Bus Traveller does appear in this comic, so if you don't want to see him, you've been warned!

I'm so excited to find you here, Marc! What a surprise
Thank you for warning me about the Naked Bus Traveler. A warning was appropriate.
To anyone who doesn't know Marc, he's an old friend of mine and I've read both his books and found them amazing, and I particularly recommend Egg Story to anyone. If you want to see suicidal eggs, nija eggs, and who doesn't, this is the book for you.
By the way, Marc, the best way to drive traffic to your blogs is to read and comment on other people's blogs. You should particularly check out Belle Yang, who just finished a graphic novel herself!

Drat, I couldn't get my Mac
to play the animation properly. It kept getting stuck. Hey, Ivory's comment worked, as I found your comment on mine and here I am saying, hello, to you ;) And drat again. I itch to make stop motion animation but I haven't had the time. I did do a short film on how I draw a graphic novel page. You can see it here http://www.redroom.com/video/forget-sorrow-an-ancestral-tale. I've bookmarked you so I can check on your projects more frequently.
