"The Bane and Boon of Writing Historical Fiction" at the South Bay Writer's Club, Tuesday, April 8th, 2008
I'll be speaking on the pros and cons of writing historical fiction, on the difficulties and joys of research, and the responsibilities of the author of period fiction, for the South Bay Writers branch of the California Writers Club (www.southbaywriters.com). The South Bay Writers branch has approx. 180 members, the largest branch of the Club. I'll post an outline for the speech (when it's done!)
