Red Room Where the Writers Are

I’ve taken a break from blogging and social networking to focus on finishing my suspense work in progress started – and I hate to think about this – about two years ago. Since the beginning of my first novel, I thought I might have a bent for suspense because those elements always show up in whatever genre I’m writing, but something held me back. Maybe it seemed too scary to me to explore the darker areas of life. I prefer to write and promote fun, beach reads. But this suspense is asking to be finished, and I know it’s going to challenge all of my writing skills – I may have to go looking for more–but maybe that's why I must write it –I love a good challenge.
