Life has been a little stressful here at Rancho Doghair these last few days, mostly due to my mother-in-law not feeling well, and Mr. Katie having to spend time with her at the hospital. She is home now, however, which is always good news. Also good news: I survived a night alone here at RD, despite the deranged axe murdering clowns who always descend upon the house when the hub is gone for the night. Mostly this was due to the fact that I was too busy mopping up blood from an owie on Elderly Dog, but I also like the think the deranged axe murdering clowns were kept at bay by the knowledge that I was really, really crabby.

More good news, at least for me, an organizationally challenged person: I just dumped a huge amount of work on my very tolerant and far too cute for any human being Evil Assistant Jennifer, which means I can sit back and loll around (which actually means slaving over a hot manuscript while at the same time trying to write up a coherent outline for the third silver dragon book, which is due in a week, eeeeek!) while she does all the grunt work. Poor Jennifer. Poor, poor Evil Assistant Jennifer. Heh heh heh.
