A little late today because…um…well, OK, I don’t have a really good excuse. I did tackle the reader request stack today, and beat it down to the point where I’m at letters postmarked approximately January 9th of this year, which is a minor miracle, frankly.

Because I’ve been avoiding the e-mail queue in favor of getting reader requests out the door, I’m going to spend a little time on that this afternoon. I think in order to shame me into answering them, I shall have to start posting a running status line for them. Feel free to point at me and chastize me for being such a bad correspondent. It probably won’t do a lot of good, but I will hang my head and feel bad.

My good news for the week is that huzzah! The cold from hell that morphed into bronchitis and a nasty asthma attack is starting to abate, and I’m feeling almost human again. I much appreciate all the warm fuzzies sent during my Time of Great Illness.
