Red Room Where the Writers Are

Is it possible to have a writing spree instead of a shopping spree? I think so. Let's see in the span of three weeks I've finished the first draft of my novel, just completed and submitted a novella to a Space Opera Anthology and I'm getting ready to write a 4,000 word or less story for another contest. Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment. But I'm having fun doing it.
