Eide and I have been in Paris since the end of March and our intention is to stay until the end of September.

The manuscript of my fourth book in the Mario Silva series, "The Tenth Passenger" is almost complete..

While here, I've spoken at The American Library and Shakespeare and Company, the latter a wonderful experience in what, for my money, is the most famous bookshop in the world.

Both of those events were with my good friend, Cara Black, who writes the Aimée Leduc series and shares my publisher. Then, together, Cara and I went on to Crimefest in Bristol in the UK, where I did one panel and Cara did too. It's a lovely city and it was a marvelhous conference.

Speaking of conferences, we'll be going to Bouchercon, where I also expect to do a panel or two. Mystery fans are cordially invited to meet me there.

Ellen R. Sheeley says:

I find myself in Paris

I find myself in Paris fairly often, and Shakespeare & Co. is such a wonderful place to hang out.

Gina Collia-Suzuki

Gina Collia-Suzuki says:

The very first time I went

The very first time I went to Paris (with my husband), Shakespeare & Co. was the first place I visited. It was late, already after dark, but very hot. I fell in love with the place immediately. We've been back countless times since. We bought one of the Shakespeare & Co. posters (do they still sell them?) and it was on our wall for years.

Bristol is another wonderful city, and not that far from me.
