Time of Change is Coming
Today, a jet crashed in Mexico City (Reforma) with the Mexican Interior Minister inside of it. We are being told it could be an accident, but what I know is not an accident: is their constant struggle against corruption, and insecurity.
It was a sad day for the President, his Interior Minister was one of his best friends and his right hand. Nevertheless, his death will not represent defeat, but a bigger need for the President to overcome the corruption that is killing the Mexican society. He spoke, not of an accident, but about a great loss in which the fight against corruption won't diminish, on the contrary it will be stronger.
On the other hand, the USA elected a new president, an historic event that will change the way things are being done. Why do I know that? It is not just Obama's words, but his calm presence and the act of unity.
The USA is not a single race, it is a conjunction of races which give it its richness, its value, and greatness. It is as if in that country you can find in each person, a piece of the world, it is so diverse!
The only thing that is missing is....
Love toward those who are not alike you, and with Obama, right now, the change is hope, the dream that you can start to feel and live love in between racial masks.
They day we don't say, an afro-american won (or any other race), it is the day, we see each other alike. It is the day, we will use our eyes of love, and the fact will be: Race is not the factor you lose or win, but hard work, truth, compassion, love, struggle, and unity are.
I have seen how Mexicans, who create jobs in the USA, are discriminated because of their Mexican status, people are afraid of the citizenship because their children may be asked to be in a war or live the discrimintation against Latinos.
Discrimination is not against one race, but against it all.
To be in a war, to discriminate, and segregate is not heroic, it is coward, haven't we learned by Gahndi, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, the world wars, and many more?
Fight fire with fire, and you will only get burned.
I have seen how Mexicans, being treated badly and unjustly, and I ask... When will the USA learn from their past mistakes? It is not about race, it is about their love to the country, to make it greater, not more American. It is already American, that is just a name.
You may hate Mexicans, but I will tell you something... Mexicans are not "the plague", they are people who were abused by a goverment through manipulation and deception for about 70 years. Those lies are a disease called: corruption. It is the corruption we should hate, not the people.
I understand this because I have suffered the consequences of it, so deeply, since I have been a child that I know the ones who destroyed this country are the same ones that can destroy the USA. You may think we are very much different, but in reality we are very much alike. If you think of it, there may be more things that unite us, than separate us.
It is the consequences of corruption, we should seek to keep away from the USA and Mexico.
Fight for a USA without corruption because it is that disease the one who creates fear, war, and hate against races because it wants to control through division and poision talk. They believe that if you divide and they shall conquer.
Fight for a Mexico without corruption because it is that plague; the one who wants uneducated people to exist, who wants to keep the people without thinking by themselves, who wants to give the power to the egoist and self interested, and permits the lies that create injustice.
So different countries, so much alike... An historic day for two countries, one country who changes through an election, and another country with the death of a corruption fighter, the Head of State in Mexico.
It is certain, time of change is coming!
