I just returned from the IRA Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. I spoke to teachers and shared my Power of Poetry presentation. Did several autographing sessions and enjoyed meeting educators from all around the world.
Now I look forward to a week of school visits in British Columbia before having a summer to write!

My brand new title is out! MY SCHOOL IN THE RAIN FOREST has been published by Boyds Mills Press. It is a photo essay/showcase of how children around the world go to school. This includes homneschoolers on a farm in the USA, the school of the air in Australia, a castle in Scotland and children under a tree in Kenya.
