Inspired by Kristy Kiernan's post about a widget (http://www.redroom.com/blog/kristy-kiernan/are-you-author-you-must-see), I figured I'd post two of my favorite reading haunts, on the web.

First off, I've been using AllConsuming the longest, and they have a fine snippet of JavaScript you can embed in your page to highlight what you're reading.

 LibraryThing is another good site for tracking your reading habits, just one I tend to update a little less often than AllConsuming. It's got a decent widget, as well, to embed on your page. As we can't (fair enough) embed JavaScript in these posts, you can view examples over on my personal (tedious, repetitive, and wholly unlike my RedRoom blog, of course) blog.
