So I was walking by a newsstand the other day when I thought I saw my book on the cover of Newsweek. Silly me!

Thanks Steve. I was lucky with my cover; HCI first presented me with a horrendous purple thing with big green bubble letters. After I *politely* made the case that my target audience would never buy the first one, they let me have a lot of say in how the book turned out, from font to color scheme to the cover image. HCI ended up being great about the whole book design process, and I know it's an anomaly from the usual author experience.
