Some spam  is tasty. Possibly because I write on the paranormal, I received an unsolicited morsel this morning from online bookseller AbeBooks alerting me to their new “Weird Book Room.”  The message showcased cover thumbnails of ten representative titles.  My favorites: “The Big Book of Lesbian Horse Stories;” “Outhouses by Famous Architects;” “Old Tractors and the Men Who Love Them;” “Doga: Yoga for Dogs;” and “How to Survive a Robot Uprising: Tips On Defending Yourself Against the Coming Rebellion.” I didn’t know we were in danger of an impending android revolt, but that’s the price you pay for not keeping up with the Gutenbergs.
